அப்பனே காவியத்தில் ஐந்தாம்பாகம்
பாயிரமாம் பனுவலது சருக்கம்பத்து
பாருலகில் மாணாக்கள் பிழைப்பதற்கு
ஞாயிறுதான் உதித்ததுபோல் தம்பிரானே
நாயகனே திரட்டிவைத்தேன் மாந்திரீகம்
தாயினது அம்பாளின் பதாம்புயத்தை
தன்மையுடன் அடிவணங்கிச் சாற்றுவார்னே.
