மும்மூல முள்மூலம் பிறமூன்றாகி
ஆண்டொன்றுங் கடந்துவப்பா லமுர்தமாகி
அப்பாலும் ரசமாகி யண்டமாகி
நாண்டொன்று நால்மூன்றும் பனிரெண்டாகி
நவசராசரங்களெல்லா மதற்குள்ளாகி
பூண்டொன்று வனமெல்லா மபானமாகி
பூரணசந்திரன் போலு முதித்தவாறே.

Literal Translation: Three and one, two and one — and beyond the two.

Literal Translation: The threefold root and the inner root became another triad.

Paripāṣai Interpretation: Inner uḷmūlam = suṣumnā; outer mummūlam = iḍā, piṅgalā, suṣumnā
They evolve into a higher triad: śiva–śakti–nāda or sattva–rajas–tamas purified.

Literal Translation: Crossing the one year (time cycle), it became ambrosia.

Paripāṣai Interpretation: A year symbolizes time-bound saṁsāra. Once crossed (through tapas), the yogi enters timeless amṛta — nectar of eternal śiva-jñāna.

IAST: appāl-um rasam-āki aṇṭam-āki
Literal Translation: Beyond even that, it became rasa and universe.

Paripāṣai Interpretation: The subtle nectar becomes rasa (divine experience), which expands into creation (aṇḍa) — Śakti manifests Brahmāṇḍa through bliss.

Tamil: நாண்டொன்று நால்மூன்றும் பனிரெண்டாகி
IAST: nāṇṭ-oṉṟu nāl-mūṉṟum paṉireṇṭ-āki
Literal Translation: One nāṇṭu (direction/day), four and three became twelve.

  • 1 × (4 + 3) = 7
  • 7 × 12 = 84, referring to 84 siddha stages
    Here, 12 = zodiac, cakras, nāḍīs or lunar phases

Literal Translation: All the nine mobile and immobile realms were within That.

Paripāṣai Interpretation: Apāna vāyu (downward current) pervades creation. The yogi who controls apāna unites with all elements — forest = bhūtakośa or outer cosmos.
